Incompetent staff. Awful parking lot layout. Awful experience. There is never enough parking spaces even for residents. The Parking lot has a lot of holes. It isn't the safest apartment complex at night. Loud parties on the weekends. Street racers all night. Playground is constantly broken, gates are constantly broken, overall bad experiences

The neighborhood isn’t the best. Cars get broken into frequently. The gates sometimes break. Parking is horrible if you dont have a reserved parking spot. My car got towed even when it was in my own payed assigned parking. If you dont catch a parking spot before 7-8 you wont find anything. Hey but rent is cheap.

Gate doors are always being broken by tenants. As well they are also loud & disrespectful. Management either takes for ever to fix the issues or just ignores it. The location is great for running errands since everything is near by. But it isn't worth the noise and headaches. Can never have company over since there is no visitor parking.

No visitor parking, new fees and rules every week it seems. Late fees will drive you crazy and get you evicted if not careful.

This review is on the new management that took over 3 months ago.
My air conditioning has broken twice since the new company took over. The first time it took over 72 hours to fix - and was only fixed upon me calling code enforcement. The second time I just told them I was going to call code enforcement again and they only took 48 hours that time. Both times this happened, I tried calling their emergency number 7 or 8 times and no one answered. I left multiple voicemails and was never... called back. In fact, just to show how little they care, try googling their number right and calling them - its disconnected. So if I have an issue, I have to leave work, drive back home, and hope the right person is there.
Since I work every hour that the Chapel Oaks office is open, I put my rent checks in the overnight drop box in a plain white envelope with my apartment number in large numbers on the envelope. Two days later I get a note on my door saying that I have not paid rent and a late fee was added to my rent. So the next day, I had to leave work, drive 30 min back home, and when I got to the office with a print out from my bank showing that they had deposited my checks on the 2nd, one of the ladies there told me that there was someone else in the complex with my name and they credited it to him.
The front gate had not worked in years before this management took over. I am glad that they fixed it, but when they did, THEY WARNED NO ONE!. No one could get in after they left that day!!!
They just changed the hours of the laundry facility from 9am - 10pm. Two days ago I started laundry around 830 and left to meet a friend. I left early and hurried home and got to the laundry room at 955 according to the clock on my cell phone. - IT WAS LOCKED! Once again, could not get ahold of anyone. I could not get to the laundry facility till 1pn the next day. SOMEONE HAD GONE THROUGH MY LAUNDRY AND TOOK A NFL FOOTBALL JERSEY, TWO PAIRS OF JEANS, AND SEVERAL T-SHIRTS. The management said they would check the security camera and get back to me - they never did.
When I asked to get out of my lease because of all this, the manager said "I have been in the business nearly 20 years and you are not getting out of your lease . . . as long as we eventually fix things you can not break your lease"
Parking is impossible after 9pm. There are more cars than parking spacing. Many of the residents have no problem double parking you.
