My new home!
I have been here for 3 months I do not have any bugs. They have checked filters, batteries and other functioning things. They did a general bug spray for spiders and such. There were no problems this was just a preventitive visit.Everyone has been nice and ask me if I need any help with anything. Most other tenants I have met are very nice. You can do things or stay to yourself chose is yours but the bingo bible study and various other things are fun sometimes. I'm happy I came here to live... . I love the Tulsa Hills shopping too.

Cigarette smoking, Bedbugs and roaches not counting the natural gas leak
Even though the entrance states NO SMOKING there are people in this apt. building who are "grandfathered" in and continue to smoke legally. I was told "Country Oaks has many lawyers who say it is legal" I was already moved in when I started smelling cigarette smoke in my apt. The woman above me chain smoked I was told. I had to leave my windows open and fans blowing constantly. I would never have moved in had I known this but manager told me it was "non smoking" when I first applied for an... apt. I had to move because of smoke and a natural gas leak in my apt. I called the gas company after hearing 2 loud booms in my HVAC unit that sounded like two big claps of thunder. Maintenance man told me to call off the gas company since they would shut every ones gas off but I persisted and sure enough there was a leak. I called the fire dept to check and health dept. too I was taken to the hosp. 4 times during 7 months the last time a 4 day stay. Why was I getting so weak and sick which was not my normal. To top it all off they kept all but 15.00 of my deposit saying I damaged the apt which is a lie. The orange residue around the toilet which looked like dried pee I was told was the glue coming through the tile. The vinyl back splash behind the stove had a large screw in the corner which split the vinyl and they blamed me for it. Refrigerator froze all my food twice and I had to toss everything and one of the mini blinds was broken but never replaced even though they placed a work order. I left the apt. spotless; washed windows, blinds, fridg, mopped, vacuumed, shower, etc This is against the law but they do it anyway; charge tenants for cleaning the carpets when normal wear and tear is not the tenants responsibility its theirs. Just one more comment: Bedbugs, roaches too.

They keep security deposits
My Mom just rd moved out of one of there apartment at the end of April ... She paid a $200 security deposit ... On the last day before moving out she had cleaned the apartment spotless as she is one of the cleanest people I know .. The manager came in to inspect and started trying to find all kinds of things wrong ... She even was trying to pressure my Mom to sign a paper agreeing with all her bogus claims ... My Mom tried to defend herself but to no avail she never signed the paper ... 3 weeks... later she recieved a $15 refund check !!! Needless to say my Om if going to fight this , she has open up a BBB case against the apartment owners ...I'm sure this has happened to other residents and it will keep happening so residents and future residents beware !
