This is advertised as an apartment for senior living.community. There’s no community about it. They advertise a community room or social room, but the tenants are not able to reserve it like you are in most other apartment complexes. Management/Owners claim that it’s too much trouble. Tenets are unable to use the storage units right beside every apartment because the management/owner do not want to monitor on a monthly basis to see to it that the Fire codes being followed and items are not... stored to the ceiling. However they make sure the maintenance is kept up if there’s an issue. They have 50 units and 30 something parking spaces, I thought my parking was included with the rent but when I was ill and couldn’t use my car all the time, I was told to move it because they needed the space and they sent notice to every tenant if they weren’t using their car they had to get rid of it. I felt sorry for the people who didn’t have any place to take their car. A hairdresser very rarely available as advertised. Very rarely was there a nurse on site as advertised. Community Room was used under the supervision of the owner/management once a month birthday get together. There were a couple holiday dinners held in the community room under the supervision of the owner management. I did not receive my deposit back when I moved at the end of this year after seven years. I took a video of my apartment to show the shape it was in when I left. And they sited a couple things to deduct out of my deposit. Said had to clean the oven which I NEVER used so it was that way when they leased it. Also they claimed there was damage to the kitchen cabinets, but I have a video showing there’s no damage. They claimed the refrigerator was dirty, but I have a video showing otherwise. Timestamp video. I was ill a lot when I lived there, so I was in skilled nursing facilities for months at a time. They also charged $125 general cleaning for when I moved out but then added on $25 cleaning the oven that wasn’t dirty and then another $25 to clean the shower which had lime stains because of their leaky faucet. I don’t know why the overall 125 didn’t cover the cleaning that they claimed they needed to do.
