I have been here for three weeks!

I moved here from South Bend without viewing the apartment person. They are money hungry. You have to pay for parking, the "free" parking doesn't have adequate spaces for all the residents in the building. There were 100 of gnats, spiders, dishwasher was flooded from prior resident, they fixed that and it started making loud gurgling noises once that got fixed, heat didn't work, they fixed that now my AC doesn't work. They reject payments so that you have to pay the return check fee. The mail... box is by the leasing office, you have to drive to get your mail and the staff is rude and don't know anything. I can't last here a year, I am definitely breaking my lease

Horrible place

The heat doesn't get that warm in winter so you will have expensive electric and heat bills. Ever since the spring ( April 2019), my a/c has been broken over 2 months (alot of other tenants have same issue, its worst on 1st floor because water leaks into your unit, fortunate for me, I am on 2nd floor). Recently after 1 month and half into this issue, they installed new a/c unit (by unlicensed untrained maintenance workers) so the a/c leaks nonstop and the heat is unbearable especially when I am... cooking. This is the worst experience that I've encountered since adulting. I keep getting run around, I keep asking to be let out of my lease because the unit has so many issues that are beyond repair even despite them "remodeling". My tag was stolen from my vehicle in the parking lot (there's no surveillance cameras so there goes the neighborhood) Horrible, horrible place.

Short Term Tenant...

Called emergency maintenance at 7:51pm they said they will take care of my AC ...no phone call no show....This is why I hate renting from apartments..Told them people are driving through the back yard and someone knocked the fence over we will take care of it...Still the fence is down and still people driving through the yard...Nice space but not worth the price the condition it is in...

Long time tenant

I've lived at Laurel lake for 4 years now and searching their reviews online I was surprised to see so much negativity. Also that most of the reviews were from 4 years ago. I will say that it is not the nicest neighborhood in Greenwood. But to pay 619 for an almost 900 square foot 2 bedroom apartment in this area is better than you'll find anywhere else.
I've seen a lot of improvement in the past few months here and wanted to get online to let people know about it! The office staff and...
maintenance team is finally getting the hand of taking care of a 40 year old property I think!
