Great property

I am very pleased with my move in here at The Highlands at Kayne. This beautiful property has a nice garden area. The property always ensures they provide a safe environment for its residents. The courtesy officers always walk the property. The property manager is great.

UNPROFESSIONAL LEASING AGENTS

I applied to these apartments in November with the hopes of moving in February (the were supposed to open on this date). I have been to their office at least 10 times dropping off documents I turned in before. These people DO. OT ANSWER THE PHONE——EVER.

There has been different staff and they all say something different. I had to contact corporate offices about my application status because I did not hear anything for 3 weeks. The absolute worse experience I have ever received when dealing...
with an apartment.

Unorganized process with no results after 3 months of paperwork

A family member applied for an apartment in November when they opened up for advertising this new complex. They have been called to the office to redo paperwork, submit lost paperwork and complete new paperwork 10 times to dates. The paperwork has never been sent to "cooperate" to be approved still and there is still no timeline on when they will be able to find out if the application is being accepted. The management (or people who work in the office) have contradicted each other on at least... 7 occasions as to what needs to be done to complete the process. Job verifications and paystubs have been requested on more than one occasion due to loss of paperwork or it being reported incorrectly from what was send by employers. What was an exciting event of applying for a new apartment has now become a 3 month nightmare and still have no results on if the application will be accepted. They have asked the applicants to take time off their job several times to come and sign paperwork, again, and then not shown up for the appointment or those in the office were unaware of what was being asked and why someone needed to see them again. The property, once built, may be nice, the people running the office to get new applicants, however, are setting the tone for this to be a horrible place to live.
